Mountain Khakis Teton Flannel Shirt : Made for Men But Women Like It, Too

I know what I’m going to get my girlfriend for Christmas: a Mountain Khaki’s Teton Flannel shirt. Then maybe I can get mine back!

Since the day it arrived, it disappears whenever I take it off. That’s because it’s the softest flannel shirt I’ve ever had. It’s made out of 100% cotton just like other flannel shirts, but then it’s put through Mountain Khakis’ LavaWashTM process….and comes out, as they say,  “buttery soft.” What could be more comfortable than a flannel shirt that looks new but feels old and worn-in?

 I like the large plaid pattern of the shirt because it’s different than traditional flannel patterns and because the color choices are unique. I tested the “Navy Plaid” color, which has tan, red, gold, and a hint of navy in the pattern. I wear it with jeans, and my girlfriend tells me that if I would ever wear khaki pants that I could wear my Teton Flannel Shirt with them,too.  Well, okay!

I like the large buttoned chest pockets on the Teton Flannel Shirt; they’re ideal for pens, my cell phone, and those little pieces of paper I always seem to collect throughout the day. The shirt has a generous cut, so it’s nice and loose. In fact, I’m between a large and extra-large and probably should have chosen a large; the extra-large is too big for me.  Still, it’s become one of my favorite shirts because it’s just so comfortable and soft.  I also like the metal snap on the bottom of the shirt with the buffalo imprint; it’s a nice detail. 

So far, the Teton Flannel Shirt has held up well to daily wear and many washings.  I wear it most often over a long-sleeved T-shirt and have even slept in it several times.
